Champions League draw: When does the draw for the next round take place?

The draw for the first knockout round of the 2015-16 Champions League will be made at 11 a.m. GMT / 6 a.m. ET on Monday, Dec. 14.

The 16 teams that finished first and second in the group stage will be drawn into eight ties.

Group winners will play group runners up. The group winners will be at home in the second leg.

Seeded: Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Real Madrid, VfL Wolfsburg, Zenit St Petersburg

Unseeded: Arsenal, AS Roma, Benfica, Dynamo Kiev, Gent, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, PSV Eindhoven

Teams from the same country cannot draw each other.

Teams from Ukraine and Russia cannot draw each other for political reasons.

The first legs will take place on Feb. 16, 17, 23 and 24.

The second legs will take place on March 8, 9, 15 and 16.

The draw for the quarterfinals will then be made on Friday, March 18.
