Robert Lewandowski says he is open to signing a new contract at Bayern Munich despite acknowledging there is "interest from abroad."
Lewandowski, 27, signed a five-year deal when joining Bayern on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund in 2014, but in recent months he has been strongly linked with Real Madrid, as well as Paris Saint-Germain and several Premier League clubs.
The Poland international, who has scored 31 goals in 30 games in all competitions this season, said there are options to leave Bayern but is not ruling out a longer stay at the Allianz Arena.
"I know that there is interest from abroad, but I can very well imaging putting pen to paper on a new deal here because of the super team and the good cooperation, because the club is known to honour good performances," Lewandowski told Sport Bild.
Thomas Muller, Jerome Boateng, Javi Martinez and Xabi Alonso were all handed new deals in December, and Sport Bild claimed that Lewandowski could become the highest-paid player in the entire league's history should he also agree to stay.
"I've noticed how the club has prepared for the future," he added. "The new deals for Boateng and Muller were a good sign that FC Bayern can keep their star players despite the money in England."
Meanwhile, Juventus forward Alvaro Morata told Sport Bild he considers Lewandowski, who has scored eight goals since the winter break, to be "the best attacking player in Europe" right now.
Juve face Bayern in the Champions League's round of 16, and Morata added: "It's a pleasure to see him play. I follow all of his matches for Bayern and Poland."
