Barcelona star Neymar has 'no interest' in Real Madrid - father

Neymar's father has sought to end continuing speculation the Barcelona star could move to Real Madrid, telling Cuatro: "We have no interest."

Neymar Sr. had already denied an Onda Cero report that he and his son met with representatives from Real while attending the 2015 Ballon d'Or ceremony earlier this month.

However, the rumours have continued, with Madrid-based newspaper Marca saying Real would sell one of Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo if they are able to complete a deal for Neymar.

Asked about the speculation, the forward's father said: "Real Madrid? We have no interest. What media has said that? Marca? Where is it [the story]?"

Manchester United are also reported to have made an official offer for the player this month but Neymar Sr. stressed that there were no plans for an early exit.

"Neymar has three more years on his contract and he wants to complete it," he said.

"The only thing I ask is for a little peace and to stop talking. My son's intention is to continue [at Barca] and that's that."

Barca have already confirmed that they want to extend Neymar's contract.
