Robert Lewandowski happy at Bayern Munich as PSG continue to be linked

Robert Lewandowski's agent insists that he is "very happy" at Bayern Munich but declined to comment on speculation linking him with Paris Saint-Germain.

Lewandowski, 27, admitted last week that it was "flattering" to be linked with the French champions, amid reports that he is currently valued at £70 million (€93 million).

PSG are weighing up their options in the event that the club's record goal scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic decides to leave the club when his contract expires in June.

Several French media outlets have suggested that Lewandowski is on PSG's wishlist behind Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona's Neymar.

Ahead of a meeting next week with Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Lewandowski's agent Cezary Kucharski told L'Equipe that "the best No. 9 in the world" was currently "very happy" in Germany.

Lewandowski is contracted to Bayern until 2019 but it was put to Kucharski that this summer might be the most lucrative time to sell the former Borussia Dortmund player.

"In football, you can never know what's going to happen," Kucharski replied. "The most important thing is that he plays in the Champions League."

Asked whether Lewandowski liked PSG as much as they like him, Kucharski said: "No comment. It's better to say nothing about this subject."

Rummenigge said recently that Bayern would be interested in signing Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain, but Kucharski said such thinking is only normal.

"The best clubs need the best strikers and Higuain is an excellent striker," he told L'Equipe.

"It doesn't surprise me that Rummenigge might have spoken about him. Just like the other big European clubs talk about Lewandowski."
