I'm happy to stay at AC Milan - Bayern Munich target Carlos Bacca

Carlos Bacca insists he is happy at AC Milan, despite reports linking him with a move to Bayern Munich should Robert Lewandowski follow Pep Guardiola to Manchester City this summer.

The Colombian striker has admitted to having a few teething problems following his arrival at the Rossoneri, but with five goals in his last six Serie A games he is now delivering the kind of form that convinced Milan to sign him from Sevilla last summer.

That form has not gone unnoticed by Carlo Ancelotti either and the Italian coach is reportedly keen on making the 29-year-old one of his first signings when he takes over at Bayern in July.

However, Bacca has reassured Milan fans that he is not looking to leave after just one year.

"My family and I are happy to be here in Milan," he said at a club event. "We have no worries and no problems at all. The affection from all the fans shows me that my experience here is going well."

That was not always the case, however. Bacca found the back of the net just three times in his first seven matches, in which the Rossoneri were beaten four times.

"I had a few problems with the tactical side of things to begin with," Bacca admitted. "Now we've got [M'Baye] Niang playing more as a second forward and I'm finding it easier as the main centre forward."

Milan head into Monday night's Serie A clash with Napoli on a seven-game unbeaten streak that they will be aiming to extend, with a place in Europe next season the ultimate goal.

"Our aim is to get back into Europe, but we know we are in for a fight with other strong teams," Bacca said. "It will be a difficult match with Napoli. [Gonzalo] Higuain is an excellent player and one that can cause a lot of problems, just like the rest of his team-mates.

"We simply have to focus on working hard and having the right approach in every match we play. I have been receiving a lot of praise, but my thoughts have to be entirely towards scoring versus Napoli in our next match. I know football and if you don't score for a few matches, you are immediately subject to criticism.

"Every match is important, whether it be the derby with Inter or any other. It's no easy task to win all of the coming matches, and even the president knows that, but we need to have the confidence to try."
