Arsenal have agreed a new contract until 2020 with full-back Carl Jenkinson, before immediately loaning him back to West Ham where he spent a season on loan in 2014-15, sources have told ESPN FC.
Jenkinson, 23, has seen his path to the Arsenal first-team blocked by Hector Bellerin, Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers, and spent the season on loan at West Ham where he played 29 times for the club.
The full-back is highly-rated by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and sources told ESPN FC in June that he would be handed a new deal before being loaned out again.
