NYCFC hosts Real Salt Lake at Yankee Stadium in Week 14 of MLS Action (3:55)

Juan Manuel Martinez broke a tie midway through the second half and Real Salt Lake beat New York City FC 3-2 on Thursday night in their first-ever meeting at Yankee Stadium.

Real Salt Lake scored three goals for a third straight match and concluded a five-game road swing with a 2-3-0 record. New York City is winless in four games.

After NYC opened the scoring in the 56th minute, Real Salt Lake tied it three minutes later when Yura Movsisyan controlled a long ball and overpowered a defender to squeeze a shot inside the near post. RSL made it 2-1 after a failed clearance fell to the feet of a wide-open Martinez.

RSL went up 3-1 in the 74th minute on Frederic Brillant's own goal.

Jack Harrison, the first pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, scored his first league goal on a deflected shot from distance for NYC, and David Villa slid a penalty kick under goalkeeper Nick Rimando in the 87th for his MLS-leading 10th goal of the season.

Brian Rowe made four saves in his second shutout for the LA Galaxy, who managed just one shot in a 0-0 draw with Sporting Kansas City.

Tim Melia didn't have to make a save in his fourth shutout for Kansas City, which has just one victory in 11 matches since April 9.

Scoring chances were rare in a meeting of teams missing several international stars on the final day before MLS' Copa America break.

Mike Magee recorded the Galaxy's only shot, but it was blocked high in the penalty area during the second half.

Steven Gerrard sat out with a strained hamstring for the Galaxy, who already were without Robbie Keane and Gyasi Zardes on international duty.

Kansas City played without U.S. national teamers Graham Zusi and Matt Besler. Sporting earned points for just the second time in six games, but hasn't won in Carson since 2010.

The Galaxy have lost just once in their last 11 matches, and their two losses all season are tied for the fewest in MLS. But they're winless in four straight, and with four draws in their last six games, they've been unable to climb higher than fourth in the Western Conference standings.

With a solid game in net, Rowe atoned for his atrocious mistake in the waning seconds last weekend in Montreal, where he allowed Didier Drogba's shot to go straight through his hands for the Impact's winning goal.

Kansas City's Dom Dwyer shot wide on the only good scoring chance in the first half. Sebastian Lletget appeared to score for the Galaxy in the 56th minute after Magee dislodged the ball from a diving Melia, but officials whistled the Galaxy offside.

Rowe then stopped Jimmy Medranda's hard shot in the 68th minute. Sporting had more late creativity than the Galaxy, but neither team was rewarded.

Ricardo Clark scored the lone goal in the second half and the Houston Dynamo tied FC Dallas 1-1 in a soggy Texas Derby.

The match was delayed in the fourth minute for nearly 2 hours due to a rainstorm in the area.

After the field conditions improved, Ryan Hollingshead gave FC Dallas the lead after knocking in Fabian Castillo's cross in the 23rd minute. In the second half, Clark hammered a loose ball from distance into the top corner to tie it in the 51st.

FC Dallas is unbeaten in five consecutive games, with three wins and two consecutive draws.

Houston has not beaten FC Dallas at home since 2011.
