Chelsea's Jose Mourinho to wait on Oscar, Pedro fitness to face Arsenal

Jose Mourinho will make late decisions on the fitness of Pedro and Oscar before deciding his team for Chelsea's match against Arsenal on Saturday.

Mourinho dropped four regulars -- John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Diego Costa and Nemanja Matic - for the midweek 4-0 Champions League win over Maccabi Tel Aviv.

He indicated that he could continue with a similar lineup but said Willian, who scored the opening goal against the Israeli side, would not play after suffering an injury in that match.

"I don't want during the warm-up to find someone doesn't have the best feeling," he said. "So Willian is not an option. Pedro, [Radamel] Falcao, Oscar, let's see. They are not definitely out.

"I liked the team on Wednesday. I liked the dynamic. I liked many individual performances."

Asked whether Ivanovic would again be left out, the Chelsea coach said: "You don't see me being critical of him. So the question is not for me.

"I'm not trying to isolate individual players from the context. I try not to do that. The team context is the most important thing."

Mourinho denied that the result would be critical to Chelsea's chances of getting back into the title race after their poor start to the Premier League season.

"Two seasons ago we won every match against the title contenders and were not champions," he said. "It is important because somebody loses points, but it's not crucial.

"Our fantastic record against Arsenal doesn't matter. It's just Chelsea against Arsenal, and it's a match we want to win."

Mourinho also said former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, now at Arsenal, would be welcome in the home dressing room -- but only after the game was over.

"For me, until the game is finished he is an opposition player. At the end, if he wants to come into our dressing room the door is open."

He dismissed questions about whether he and Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger would shake hands, saying: "I don't think it's important and I don't think people are focused on that.

"They are focused on what happens on the pitch."
