Arsenal have been forced to play in their yellow away strip by UEFA on Wednesday night in the Champions League as their home kit clashes with that of opponents FC Basel.
The Gunners' red home shirt has caused a clash of colours and UEFA kit policy has dictated that they are the ones to change.
A statement on Arsenal's website read: "UEFA have stipulated that Arsenal are required to wear their away kit for this evening's Champions League match. This unusual situation is due to the fact the Gunners' home shirt clashes with Basel's red, blue and black home strip.
"Basel's all white away strip is also deemed unacceptable due to the white sleeves on our home shirt. Basel do not have a third strip."
It is the first time at the Emirates stadium that Arsenal have played in their away shirt, however in 1998-99 UEFA's policy was for the home team to change in event of a clash and the team played against Lens in their away strip.
In 1991, before the modern Champions League, Arsenal also took on Benfica wearing their away kit at home.
