CAPS United warmed up for Sunday's must-win CAF Champions League clash against Zamalek in the worst possible manner after losing 2-0 to Yadah FC in a Zimbabwe Premier League midweek fixture.

Tuesday's setback caps a wretched spell for 'Makepekepe', who have managed just one win in their last five matches in all competitions as they struggle to reproduce anything like the form which propelled them to the title last term.

CAPS were virtually at full strength against Yadah, with midfielder Joel Ngodzo...

Another win for Dynamos as Highlanders are held

Dynamos kept up their Zimbabwe Premier League resurgence with a 4-3 win over Bulawayo City this weekend as log leaders Ngezi Platinum were held.

Sunday's victory, their fifth in a row, lifted the Harare giants into fourth place in the standings with 26 points, just two behind the leaders.

Better still, the former champions could find themselves in top spot before the week is out, with a ruling expected on their abandoned match away to Chapungu. That game was stopped in the 56th minute after a goalpost...

Ambitious Zimbabwe Premier League side FC Platinum finally remembered how to win after overcoming visiting Tsholostho 1-0 at Mandava on Saturday.

Newboy Gift Mbweti's fourth minute strike was enough to hand Platinum victory and end a run of three consecutive draws to lift Norman Mapeza's team into fourth-place in the standings.

Still undefeated this season, Platinum have however struggled to kill off matches against lesser opponents, with a return of eight draws in 13 matches not exactly the kind...

Zimbabwe Premier League giants Dynamos were denied a resounding win away to Chapungu on Sunday after their match was abandoned in dramatic style, with the goal posts at one end collapsing to force the teams off the pitch just before the hour mark.

The score-line stood at 4-0. Dynamos dazzled the hosts from the off and were three goals up by the break.

Double scorer Emmanuel Mandiranga put the former champions ahead after eight minutes and midfielder Denvar Mukamba soon added another for his third...

Denver Mukamba of Jomo Cosmos celebrates his goal during the 2016 Netbank Cup last 32 game between Jomo Cosmos and AmaZulu at the Olen Park Stadium in Pochestroom, South Africa on March 08, 2016

Dynamos consolidated their resurgence following a slow start to their Zimbabwe Premier League campaign with a thrilling 3-2 win over Ngezi Platinum in Harare on Thursday evening.

Midfielder Denver Mukamba struck with a neat first-time effort to put Dynamos ahead on the half-hour mark, but it was going to take a lot more effort to subdue a Ngezi side who have been setting the pace in the title race.

Tonderai Ndiraya's team had been dislodged from the league summit by Black Rhinos 24 hours earlier...
