Son Heung-Min tallied a hat-trick as Korea Republic defeat Laos 8-0 in their World Cup qualifier.

Tottenham Hotspur's new signing Son Heung-Min scored a hat trick as South Korea recorded an emphatic 8-0 win over Laos in Asian World Cup qualifying Group G.

Son, who signed for Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen last week, was joined on the scoresheet by Lee Chung-Yong, Lee Jae-sung, Chang-Hoon Kwon (two) and Hyun-Jun Suk to make it two wins from as many games.

SYDNEY -- Australia coach Ange Postecoglou has boosted his attacking strength with the recall of Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic, Bayer Leverkusen forward Robbie Kruse and Queens Park Rangers' Massimo Luongo for next month's World Cup qualifiers against Bangladesh and Tajikistan.

Rogic is recalled to the 23-man Australia squad after an absence of 15 months, while Asian Cup stars Luongo and Kruse rejoin the side after missing May's qualifier against Kyrgyzstan with injuries.
