Slaven Bilic eyes West Ham training at London Stadium to get 'home' feeling

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has looked into holding first-team training at the London Stadium in an effort to help his players acclimatise to their new home.

Since leaving Upton Park the Hammers have won only one of four Premier League home games and they are in the bottom three after only taking four points from their opening seven games this season, leaving Bilic to surmise that his side must improve their home form quickly.

"We can train here as many times as we want," Bilic said. "I asked for that. It's not a question of can we? We can.

"It is not West Ham's stadium but it is West Ham's home. You can buy a flat that is totally under a mortgage, but it is your flat.

"You are paying the mortgage and you still treat that flat as your home. Of course it takes time to settle in. It takes time for everything that is new.

"This is a new stadium for us but it's us. But there is a period where you need time to adjust to something and the only way to make it shorter is by winning more games."
