Alan Pardew left West Brom by mutual consent on Monday with the Baggies bottom of the Premier League table and 10 points from safety with six games to play.
Pardew took over in November 2017 but won just three games out of 21 in all competitions. And after a 2-1 defeat to Burnley on Saturday left West Brom rooted to the bottom, the decision was made to terminate his contract.
Coach Darren Moore has taken temporary charge of the first team, with assistant head coach John Carver having also departed the club.

A statement on the West Brom website read: "West Bromwich Albion and Alan Pardew have agreed to mutually part company today following discussions between both parties. Assistant head coach John Carver will also be leaving.
"The club would like to thank Alan and John for their efforts and wish them well in their future endeavours.
"First-team coach Darren Moore has been placed in charge of first team affairs until further notice. The club will not be making any further comment at this time."
Leicester coach Michael Appleton, a former Baggies player and caretaker manager, is among the early favourites with the bookmakers to become Pardew's permanent successor.
Ex-Foxes manager Nigel Pearson has also been linked with the vacancy, along with former Hull and Watford coach Marco Silva and current Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder.
Pardew, 51, presided over a club record eight successive Premier League defeats and won just once in 18 league games, taking only eight points from a possible 54.
The outgoing boss replaced Tony Pulis last year, following on from his previous job at Crystal Palace. He was sacked by them in December 2016 with the Eagles 17th in the Premier League.
Pardew's departure is the latest in a tumultuous series of events at the club, with a midseason winter trip to Spain leading to a police investigation after four players allegedly stole a taxi. Gareth Barry, Jonny Evans, Jake Livermore and Boaz Myhill were questioned by police but not arrested.
West Brom's next match is at home to Swansea on Saturday.
