Defender Craig Cathcart has signed a new four-year deal at Watford. Cathcart, 26, made 30 appearances for the Hornets last season as they won promotion to the Premier League. The Northern Ireland international who started his career at Manchester United, signed for Watford from Blackpool last summer. Watford, under new head coach Quique Sanchez Flores, have already been busy during the close-season, with Matej Vydra turning his loan move from Italian side Udinese into a permanent deal and Gabriele Angella penning a new five-year deal on Wednesday.
