Valencia head coach Marcelino was involved in a traffic accident while driving home for Christmas.
The 52-year-old, who has guided Los Che to third place in La Liga, was travelling to his home province of Asturias when a boar crossed the road between Logrono and Bilbao and collided with his car.
A statement published by Valencia on Sunday read: "Marcelino Garcia Toral was involved in a car accident early this morning, while travelling home to Asturias to spend the holidays with his family.
"It took place on a stretch of motorway between Logrono and Bilbao, when a wild boar crossed the road and collided with his car. He was taken to hospital, but has already been given the all clear."
