Valencia keeper Diego Alves' agent says his client would consider a possible summer move to Roma.
Los Che are set to sell at least one senior goalkeeper this summer, with the club’s perilous finances leaving them unable to afford both Alves and fellow established pro Vicente Guaita on the Mestalla payroll.
With Holland number one Maarten Stekelenburg reportedly moving on this summer, Roma may have a vacancy to fill between their posts, and Jose Rodriguez Baster told Il Corriere dello Sport that Alves would think seriously about making a move to the Stadio Olimpico.
"You could never just immediately say no to a club like Roma," Rodriguez Baster said.
Brazilian-born Alves, 27, joined Valencia from Almeria in summer 2011. He made 24 La Liga starts last term as the club’s coaches rotated him and Guaita, 26, depending on form and the opposition being faced.
