Sources: U.S. U20's Gloster to Dutch side PSV

E:60 looks at United States soccer player Christian Pulisic's next big step from wonder kid at Borussia Dortmund to world star at Chelsea.

U.S. Under-20 youth international Chris Gloster is set to move to Eredivisie powerhouse PSV Eindhoven after the Dutch club agreed to terms with German side Hannover 96, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.

German outlet Bild was the first to report the news.

Gloster, 19, is heading to Eindhoven on Wednesday, and will undergo a medical the following day. If all goes well, he will officially sign with PSV on Friday.

- U.S. youngster Araujo could make switch to Mexico

The move amounts to a considerable reward for Gloster's play at the FIFA U20 World Cup, where his consistent performances at left-back helped the U.S. reach the quarterfinals. One source with direct knowledge of the transfer said the contract is for three years and that PSV will pay a fee of around $280,000 to Hannover, with add-on bonuses that could reach $1 million.

Gloster is expected to start out playing with PSV's reserve team, given that the club brought in 21-year-old defender Toni Lato on loan from Valencia during the offseason. But the hope is that Gloster can establish himself in the squad and be the team's left-back of the future.

A product of the New York Red Bulls academy, Gloster spent most of last season with Hannover's reserve team, one that plays in the fourth-tier Regionalliga Nord, after starting the campaign with the U19s. He made 16 appearances with the reserves and four with the U19s.

At international level, Gloster made 15 appearances with the U.S. U20s.
