          When CONCACAF's under-23 championship kicks off in Kansas City on Thursday, a blue-chip-laden U.S. squad will begin its quest to reach the 2016 Olympics in its first group-stage game, against Canada -- which the U.S. lost to en route to not qualifying for London 2012.
