U.S. international Michael Orozco joins Club Tijuana from from Puebla FC

United States international defender Michael Orozco has joined Club Tijuana, the Liga MX club announced on Friday. The 29-year-old makes the move from Puebla FC.

Orozco, who began his professional career with San Luis and has also played in MLS for Philadelphia, will be reunited at the Xolos with Ruben Omar Romano, who was his manager last season at Puebla. 

Orozco made his U.S. debut in 2008. He has won 16 caps and scored three goals, the most famous of which was a winner vs. Mexico at the Azteca Stadium in 2012. He is a member of the national team squad for the CONCACAF Gold Cup, which begins on July 7.
