Jordan Kirkpatrick netted a brace as Dumbarton recorded a 2-1 win over fellow Scottish Championship side Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup.
The Sons took the lead in the 19th minute when Kirkpatrick found the top corner of Thomas Flynn's net from the middle of the box.
Cowden hit back in the 61st minute when James Stevenson drove the ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the penalty area.
But Kirkpatrick made it 2-1 just three minutes later when he got on the end of Mitchel Megginson's cross to volley in at the back post.
Kirkpatrick came within inches of completing his hat-trick in the 84th minute when his 25-yard effort clattered the bar.
