Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC are facing several injury concerns ahead of their tricky Preliminary Round CAF Champions League second-leg clash against CNaPS FC on Wednesday.
The Madagascans carry a 2-1 advantage from the first leg, and their hopes of progression will be boosted by news that their hopes are without three key players due to injury.
The latest to be ruled out is key midfielder Ibrahim Saddam Juma, who's ruled out after picking up an injury on Sunday.
"The technical bench will have to do with the injured players, who include Juma, Julius Poloto and Muzamir Mutyaba," KCCA spokesperson Moses Magero told KweséESPN.
Mutyaba missed the first leg in Antananarivo after he returned injured from the African Nations Championship.
KCCA are, however, boosted by the return of striker Derrick Nsibambi.
"I trust my boys know what I expect of them," coach Mike Mutebi told KweséESPN. "We need to approach the game with a lot of caution."
The UPL champions will head into the game with lots of confidence after stopping arch-rivals SC Villa 1-0 last week in domestic top-flight action.
They followed that up with a 2-1 triumph over Simba SC in a Uganda Cup clash on Sunday.
However, Mutebi insists that his side must begin to take the scoring chances that come their way in light of recent profligacy.
"We shall need to play our style of game and have the urgency in front of goal," vowed Mutebi.
Ethiopia's Saint George S.C. lie in wait for the winners of the clash in the First Round.
