Zorya Luhansk plan a 'lot of security' for Man United Europa League clash

Zorya Luhansk are reportedly planning a "high level" of security for the visit of Manchester United, whose fans have been asked not to wear colours by their own club.

United club secretary John Alexander wrote to supporters travelling to the Ukraine and gave the advice on colours, reassuring fans that they would be refunded if they did not feel safe enough to go.

The match is being staged in Odessa, rather than Luhansk, because of conflict in the region. There was trouble when Feyenoord and Fenerbahce visited Odessa for their Europa League matches earlier this season.

The Daily Mail quoted a source close to Zorya Luhansk as saying: "For a famous club like Manchester United, of course we will prepare responsibly with a lot of security measures.

"Odessa is safe. Our city is really not dangerous. In every championship, there are conflicts. It is normal.

"But I think it will be safe and our police will provide a high level of security to make sure everybody is OK."
