Sevilla to play Fiorentina in Europa League semis, Napoli face Dnipro

Reigning Europa League holders Sevilla will face Serie A side Fiorentina in the semifinals of this season's competition while Ukraine's Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk were drawn against the other Italian club left in the tournament, Napoli.

Sevilla are bidding to win the trophy in consecutive seasons for the second time in a decade, having previously claimed back-to-back titles under Juande Ramos in 2006 and 2007.

Napoli, winners of the old UEFA Cup in 1989, are managed by Rafa Benitez, who took Chelsea to glory in the competition in 2012.

Dnipro play their home games in Kiev because UEFA judged Dnipropetrovsk unsafe to host matches during the conflict with pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine.

The first legs will be played on May 7, with the return matches on May 14. The final will be played on May 27 at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland.

For the first time, the Europa League winner will also earn a place in the group stage of the Champions League next season.
