Juve face Benfica in Europa semis

Juventus must see off Portuguese giants Benfica if they are to book a place in a Europa League final on home turf, while Sevilla face Valencia in the competition's other semifinal.

This year's Europa League final is at Juve's Turin Stadium, where Antonio Conte's side will play the second leg of their last-four tie after first visiting the Estadio da Luz.

The Bianconeri have never won the Europa League in its current guise, but are joint-record winners of its predecessor, the UEFA Cup, having won it three times (1977, 1990 and 1993) along with Inter Milan and Liverpool.

Valencia host Sevilla in the first leg of the other semifinal in an all-Spanish class that pits La Liga's eighth-placed team against the team fifth in the table.

Los Che won the UEFA Cup under Rafa Benitez in 2004, while Sevilla became only the second side after Real Madrid to take home the trophy in successive seasons when they triumphed in 2006 and 2007. A Spanish side has won the competition in five of the past 10 seasons.
