Karim Benzema returns for Real Madrid for Wolfsburg quarterfinal

Real Madrid have made seven changes for their Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Wolfsburg, with Karim Benzema returning to the team following injury.

Zinedine Zidane rings the changes for Madrid in a game that they need to score at least twice in, having lost the first leg in Germany 2-0 last week.

Keylor Navas, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Gareth Bale and Benzema all come into the starting lineup after missing out on a place in the XI for the weekend's 4-0 victory over Eibar. Kiko Casilla, Nacho, Alvaro Arbeloa, James Rodriguez, Isco, Lucas Vazquez and Jese are the players to make way.

Benzema is fit again for Madrid after being forced off with a knee injury in the first leg, while Raphael Varane also returns from a spell on the sidelines to make the bench, having injured himself while on international duty with France.

Madrid have made just one change from the first leg, with Dani Carvajal coming in for Danilo.

Wolfsburg, meanwhile, make four changes from the side that drew 1-1 with Mainz at the weekend.

Diego Benaglio, Ricardo Rodriguez, Vieirinha and Julian Draxler all return to the team in place of Koen Casteels, Marcel Schafer, Christian Trasch and Bas Dost.

Sebastian Jung remains out with a knee injury, while Daniel Caligiuri shakes off a groin problem to make the bench.
