Dynamo Kiev have nothing to lose vs. Manchester City - Rebrov

MANCHESTER -- Dynamo Kiev manager Sergei Rebrov says his side haven't given up on reaching the quarterfinals of the Champions League but admits his side are huge underdogs.

Kiev lost the the first leg 3-1 in Ukraine three weeks ago and must score three goals at the Etihad to have any chance of reaching the last eight.

Rebrov says his side will try to get a win on Tuesday night to put City under pressure and insists his players have nothing to lose.

He told a news conference: "We do not have many chances to advance but I do think we do have a chance if the players just do not feel nervous.

"If they are relaxed they will create some chances and I think that tomorrow there will be a team that will fight for a result irrelevant of the result in the first leg."

Despite the first leg victory, Manchester City have not been in great form -- winning just one of their last five Premier League games to leave them as outsiders for the title.

However former Tottenham Hotspur striker Rebrov insists their domestic form will have little impact on their European hopes.

Rebrov said: "I have followed their games they played with Liverpool and they won on penalties. They won 4-0 against Aston Villa drew 0-0 with Norwich City.

"Manchester City demonstrated quality football against very strong opponents which is why this league is considered to be the best.

"They played only two days ago and it will be difficult for them to recuperate and it was difficult to play against Norwich. But Manchester City did not play that badly it was just that Norwich City defended very well."

Any hopes of causing a huge upset could depend on the form of winger Andriy Yarmolenko, who was one of Dynamo's bright sparks from the first leg defeat.

The 28-year-old, who has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Liverpool in the Premier League, says his side are determined to show their quality to cause an upset.

Rebrov said: "We don't have too much chance to proceed but we're optimistic and prepared to show good football which supporters will like."
