Chelsea opt for Kenedy in Champions League; Marco Verratti out for PSG

Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has selected Kenedy ahead of Baba Rahman at left-back for the crunch Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge, while the visitors are without Marco Verratti.

Chelsea, seeking to overcome a 2-1 defeat at the Parc des Princes, start with Diego Costa, Eden Hazard, Pedro and Willian in attack, while Cesc Fabregas and John Obi Mikel take the central midfield roles.

That means Oscar, Nemanja Matic, Bertrand Traore, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Loic Remy are all on the bench for the Premier League champions, along with specialist left-back Rahman and goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

For PSG, key midfielder Verratti has not been deemed fit enough to feature in the squad after a groin problem.

Blaise Matuidi, who had been struggling with a thigh injury, is available and starts the game in central midfield along with Thiago Motta and Adrien Rabiot.

Edinson Cavani, who scored the winning goal in Paris after coming off the bench, is again among the substitutes, along with Javier Pastore.
