Bayern Munich must be 'really careful' vs. Juventus in Champions League

Fabio Capello has warned Bayern Munich to be "really careful" in their Champions League round of 16 tie with Juventus in February.

Juventus unexpectedly advanced to the Champions League final last season, before succumbing 3-1 to Barcelona in Berlin. The four-time defending Serie A champs started the 2015-16 season slow, but have now won seven straight league matches and again qualified for the Champions League's knockout stage.

Despite the losses of key men like Andrea Pirlo, Carlos Tevez and Arturo Vidal during the summer, Capello, who coached Juve from 2004-06, says this season's new-look side can give the two-time defending German champs problems over two legs.

"It will be an interesting game because Bayern Munich are very dangerous in attack, but they also have problems when they need to defend and Juve strikers and midfielders are very quick," Capello, a former England boss, told Omnisport on Wednesday.

"Bayern therefore have to be really careful.

"I think English teams team in February or March will be really tired. It's different for Bayern Munich, who will be fresh as they have a long winter break."
