Olympiakos can certainly beat Arsenal again - Roy Carroll

Former Olympiakos goalkeeper Roy Carroll believes the Greek side are capable of another victory against Arsenal on Wednesday.

Olympiakos are currently second in Champions League Group H, three points ahead of Arsenal, and will qualify for the knockout stage unless the Gunners better the 3-2 victory that Marco Silva's men secured at the Emirates Stadium in September.

Notts County goalkeeper Carroll, who played for Olympiakos from 2012 to 2014, believes his ex-teammates can secure the victory when Arsenal visit Piraeus.

Reflecting on Olympiakos' shock win in September, Carroll said in the London Evening Standard: "I played at Dagenham when they were at the Emirates so I went to see my old friends afterwards.

"They were on a high because it was the first time they had won for many years in England."

He added: "They can certainly beat Arsenal tonight."

Carroll was at Olympiakos when they secured a surprise 2-0 home victory over United in 2014, but David Moyes' side eventually progressed after a 3-0 win at Old Trafford.
