San Siro to host 2016 Champions League final

UEFA has announced that the 2015-16 Champions League final will be held in Milan's San Siro stadium.

The Europa League final will be played in Basel, Switzerland, while the UEFA Super Cup match will be in Trondheim, Norway.

Meanwhile, UEFA has confirmed that financial fair play (FFP) fines imposed on Manchester City and Paris St Germain will be distributed among other clubs in Europe.

Each club who played in the Champions League or Europa League will get 160,000 euros each (135,000 pounds) from the 20 million pounds that UEFA took in FFP fines.

City were fined 50 million pounds for the FFP breaches but will only have to pay around 20 million pounds if they comply with the break-even rules in future seasons.

The European Clubs' Association last week announced it had called for the distribution saying the money should be retained by club football rather than go into UEFA's coffers.
