UCL draw: Jurgen Klopp eager to meet Arsene Wenger a third time
Jurgen Klopp said he is looking forward to facing his Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger again as Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal were drawn for a third meeting in four seasons during the group stage of Champions League.
"Welcome Arsenal! And Galatasaray and Anderlecht on top of that," the official Borussia Dortmund homepage headlined.
The Gunners were the first guests at Dortmund Westfalenstadion when BVB returned to Champions League in 2011. A late Ivan Perisic strike levelled the score, but at the end Borussia were eliminated from the competition.
Last season, both teams came out on top ahead of Napoli, with all three sides finishing the group stage with 12 points.
"Arsenal, Galastasaray, and Anderlecht. This group is balanced and promises a lot of excitement," Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said.
"By now, we have a lot of experience in those Champions League clashes with the Gunners. Borussia Dortmund goes into this very strong Champions League group with a lot of confidence."
Klopp, whose team finished as Champions League runners-up in 2013, said Premier League Arsenal are always a tough rival.
