Kaka targeting 100th goal for AC Milan

Kaka has set his sights on goal number 100 for AC Milan as he enjoys a revival in form since returning to the Serie A club.

Kaka has been in fine form for Milan in recent weeks.

Allegri: Milan must eliminate Ajax
Paul: Decisive clash with Ajax

The Brazilian has netted three times in his last six league appearances, as well as in the 3-0 Champions League win over Celtic that leaves Milan in second place ahead of Wednesday night's decider against Ajax, and he is now just one goal away from a century of goals for the Rossoneri.

"It would be fantastic if I could make it at the San Siro, and there's no better time to do so than on Wednesday," Kaka said in quotes reported by Gazzetta dello Sport. "I want to make it as soon as possible."

Kaka re-joined Milan in the summer from Real Madrid, where he struggled to show the kind of form he had in Serie A.

"I dreamed about wearing this shirt again," the 31-year-old added at a book presentation in the Lombardy capital. "I hope I can carry on wearing it for many years to come. Being at Real Madrid was difficult but beautiful and I would not change anything -- I learned a lot and matured a great deal -- but I needed to come back, to feel this affection.

"This is a new beginning for me. I really missed the atmosphere of Milanello. This shirt is really like a second skin for me."

Kaka now has his sights set on a place in the Brazil squad for next summer's World Cup. He last pulled on his national team's colours in a March friendly against Russia, but he has not given up hope of convincing Luiz Felipe Scolari to select him next summer.

"Seeing the emotions of the people in Brazil just for the draw a few days ago was amazing," he said. "I'm aiming to break back into the national team. For me, it would be ideal to play my fourth and probably last World Cup in my home country."
