PSG can win UCL, says Thiago Motta
Thiago Motta has said Paris Saint-Germain are "among the five teams" able to win the Champions League this season.
Laurent Blanc's men will clinch their place in the knockout stages as Group C winners with a draw against Olympiakos at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday.
And midfielder Motta, 31, told RMC he believed the French champions could go all the way in the competition, saying: "It's not easy to win the Champions League, but we're now among the five teams that can win it.
"It's up to us. We have to play well when the decisive matches come along, that's key. We have the quality to win those sorts of matches."
That quality is epitomised by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Swedish superstar whose individual brilliance was displayed when he plundered four goals in October's Champions League rout of Anderlecht.
Having played alongside another mercurial talent in his Italian international team-mate Mario Balotelli, Motta said he believed Ibrahimovic had the edge on the AC Milan forward.
"It's easier with Ibra," he said. "I got to know Mario at Inter. He's a very good player, but he was very young.
"I'm more at ease with Ibra. He likes having the ball, which suits our style of play. When we're in difficulty in midfield, we give him the ball and he manages to keep it or invent something."
