Fenerbahce hire Vitor Pereira as manager from Olympiakos

ANKARA, Turkey -- Fenerbahce have hired former Porto and Olympiakos coach Vitor Pereira after losing the league title to rivals Galatasaray.

Fenebahce say they have signed the 46-year-old Portuguese coach to a two-year contract. He replaces Ismail Kartal, who resigned.

Pereira will join the Turkish club after leading Olympiakos to the Greek league title.

Also on Thursday, Besiktas announced that they had hired Senol Gunes to replace Slaven Bilic, who took over at West Ham after two years in charge.
