Alejandro Moreno contends that the addition of a healthy Gareth Bale to the Real Madrid squad might not be enough to reverse Ronaldo's fortune.

Former Real Madrid defender Pepe has told CNN World Sport that he would love his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to join him at Besiktas.

Pepe, 34, left Madrid last summer after a decade with the club, during which he won La Liga three times, the Champions League three times and the Copa del Rey twice.

President Hikmet Ferudun Tankut and the 11 other board members have quit, barely a month after Popovic was installed as coach.

Samir Nasri will only return to Marseille in coaching role, not as a player

Samir Nasri left Manchester City for Turkish club Antalyaspor in the summer.

Samir Nasri has ruled out returning to play for Marseille, but told Canal+ that he could one day take up a coaching role.

Nasri made his name with his hometown club before leaving for Arsenal in 2008. Despite subsequent moves to Manchester City, Sevilla and his current team, Turkish outfit Antalyaspor, he has been continually linked with a switch back to Marseille.

The former France international admitted he had been contacted by OM this summer, but ruled out a comeback.

Tony Popovic will find Turkey 'tough' says Socceroos MF James Troisi

Jason Dasey and Nick Ward give their early thoughts and predictions ahead of the 2017/18 A-League.
Tomi Juric was on the scoresheet as Australia now are made to wait over their 2018 World Cup hopes.
Australia's Tomi Juric feels his side could have easily won by five goals and now anxiously await Japan's result.
Mile Jedinak returns to Australia's squad set to face Syria, while Nikita Ruka Rukavytsya rejoins after a 3-year absence.

Australia midfielder James Troisi says that if Tony Popovic can make it in Turkey, he can make it anywhere.

And the Socceroos playmaker would know, having spent four years of his career in the country's unforgiving top tier.

If spells at Genclerberligi and Kayserispor taught Troisi anything about the fate of Western Sydney's suddenly departed coach, it's that Popovic's transition from A-League heavyweights to Super Lig battlers Karabukspor promises to be a baptism of fire.

"I don't know what his...
