AC Milan sign midfielder Jose Sosa from Besiktas to three-year contract

Jose Sosa, middle, is moving to AC Milan.

AC Milan have announced the signing of midfielder Jose Sosa from Besiktas to a three-year deal.

The 31-year-old former Napoli and Atletico Madrid man moves to the San Siro for a reported fee of €7.5 million.

A former Argentina international, Sosa made 31 Super Lig appearances for the Turkish side last season, scoring seven goals.

Dick Advocaat named Fenerbahce boss after quitting Netherlands role

Dick Advocaat left Sunderland in October last year.

Fenerbahce have unveiled Dick Advocaat as their new boss two days after he walked away from as his role as Danny Blind's assistant with the Netherlands national team.

Advocaat, who left Sunderland last year, has twice managed Netherlands in the past and agreed to return to the national team as Blind's assistant in May, but the KNVB announced on its website on Monday morning that the 68-year-old had "indicated he is going to work somewhere else."

Arsenal have made an enquiry about Fenerbahce defender Simon Kjaer, a source close to the club told ESPN FC.

Fenerbahce want to keep hold of Kjaer over the summer and have yet to receive a formal offer, the source said.

Arsenal would have to make the Turkish club an offer that exceeds their €15 million valuation.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is facing a defensive crisis with Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista both out injured.

The Dutch FA (KNVB) has confirmed that Dick Advocaat has left his role as Netherlands assistant coach to take charge at Fenerbahce, with head coach Danny Blind saying he is "shocked and disappointed."
