Arda Turan has defended his performance for Turkey at the European Championship and said he has "nothing to prove."
The Barcelona midfielder has come in for criticism during a campaign that has seen Turkey lose 1-0 to Croatia, a game in which Turan was substituted in the 65th minute, and 3-0 to Spain, which saw Turkey fans round on him.
But amid reports he is considering his future with Turkey, the 29-year-old has hit back at critics of his record.
"I have nothing to prove," he said. "I have worn this shirt more than 90 times and the times I've played badly can be counted on the fingers of one hand."
