Bottom Ligue 1 side Troyes appoint Claude Robin as new manager

Troyes have appointed Claude Robin as their new manager following the departure of Jean-Marc Furlan last week.

Robin, who spent two years as the club's reserve coach from 2013, will work alongside Michel Padovani, Mohamed Bradja and Olivier Tingry.

A statement on the club's official website said: "Claude Robin was appointed by president Daniel Masoni as the head of the professional team. He takes office today and will be accompanied by Michel Padovani, Mohamed Bradja and Olivier Tingry."

L'ESTAC have not tasted victory in any of their 17 league games this season and are bottom of the Ligue 1 table.

Robin will take charge of his first game against Bastia on Saturday, Dec. 12.
