ESPN FC's Gab Marcotti previews the upcoming January transfer window, where Kevin Strootman and Mats Hummels are both names that seemingly are coming up on everyone's radar.

January is traditionally a crucial period in a club's season, with the transfer market opening for a month to enable teams to improve what they have or ship out unwanted players.

Hull City not the only Premier League team interested in Aaron Lennon

Aaron Lennon's services are in demand from several Premier League clubs, according to ESPN FC sources.

Hull City are not the only club who have expressed an interest in Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon, sources have told ESPN FC.

Hull seemed to be in pole position to sign Lennon after their manager Steve Bruce claimed on Saturday that his club was close to agreeing a deal to sign 27-year-old Lennon, but sources have told ESPN that "several clubs have expressed an interest" in signing the England international, including Queens Park Rangers.
