Christian Eriksen happy at Tottenham, has no plans to leave on transfer

Christian Eriksen has said he is committed to Tottenham Hotspur as he is in no "big rush to leave the club."

Eriksen, 23, has emerged as a key player for Spurs since signing for the club from Ajax in 2013.

The Denmark international enjoyed an excellent 2014-15 season, scoring 10 Premier League goals in 38 appearances.

Regarding his future, Eriksen is quoted by the London Evening Standard as telling Ritzau: "I feel right at home at Tottenham.

"I haven't thought about leaving yet. I still have three years on my current deal so I'm not in a big rush to leave the club."

When asked about Tottenham's aims for next term, he said: "Our target is the same as last season.

"We need to get past that fifth place and break the top four. We might have finished fifth this year but we weren't close to the top four with the games we lost.

"We've a very promising squad with a lot of young players who have done well this season and they will only improve next season. So it will be exciting."
