Harry Kane set to sign new deal at Tottenham - sources

Tottenham striker Harry Kane is set to put pen to paper on a new deal at the club, sources have told ESPN FC.

Kane, 21, only signed a five-year deal at White Hart Lane back in August, but his star has risen considerably this season and he is expected to agree a one-year extension to 2020 with a weekly wage of around 35,000 pounds a week having opened talks earlier this month.

Having enjoyed a run in the side under former head coach Tim Sherwood last season, Kane has become the focal point of the attack under Mauricio Pochettino and has even been tipped to receive a call-up to the England squad for the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers.

He has netted 17 goals in 21 starts across all competitions, with his six goals in six games in the Europa League and his brace and two assists in the 5-3 win over Chelsea a particular highlight.

Kane previously spent time on loan at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich and Leicester but now appears to be set to lead the Spurs line for years to come.
