Raheem Sterling led Man City past Vietnam with two goals on Monday.

Raheem Sterling scored twice for Manchester City as his new side thumped a Vietnam national team 8-1 in the final match of their preseason tour.

Aleksandar Kolarov and David Silva also scored two apiece while Marcos Lopes and Jose Angel Pozo grabbed the other goals in Hanoi.

It was City's fourth victory of the tour after wins over Adelaide United, Melbourne City and Roma, with a single defeat to Real Madrid, and Manuel Pellegrini's squad will now return to Manchester before travelling to Stuttgart...

Manchester City continue their Premier League preparations on tour in Vietnam, with City manger Manuel Pellegrini noting that he will play his best possible squad in their upcoming friendly.

Raheem Sterling will be the star attraction when a depleted Manchester City take on a Vietnam XI in Hanoi on Monday night.

Sterling will be looking to build on the impressive form he showed on City's Australia tour, scoring just two minutes into his debut against Roma after a £49 million move from Liverpool.

Sterling, David Silva, Jesus Navas and Samir Nasri are expected to headline the match at the My Dinh Stadium.

Vietnam claimed the football bronze medal at the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games campaign with a 5-0 win over Indonesia in the third place match held at Sports Hub in Singapore on Monday.

Vo Huy Toan was the star of the show with a first half brace before Mac Hong Quan, Que Ngoc Hai and Nguyen Huu Dung struck to cap an outstanding Vietnamese performance against an Indonesian team who rested star playmaker Evan Dimas.

Myanmar continued their fairytale Southeast Asian (SEA) Games football campaign with a stunning 2-1 victory over favourites Vietnam in the first semifinal at the Singapore Sports Hub on Saturday afternoon.
