U.S. star Christian Pulisic sends game jersey to young fan who raised money

Christian Pulisic sends a signed game jersey to a Hurricane Maria victim, an Egypt fan rejoices and more in the Sweeper.

A day after the United States defeated Panama 4-0, 19-year-old rising superstar Christian Pulisic decided to send his signed game jersey to one very special fan: seven-year-old Alex Ibarra.

Pulisic heard of Ibarra last week, when the young superfan announced on Twitter that he would be donating his signed Pulisic jersey to a raffle set up to benefit Puerto Rico's relief efforts following Hurricane Maria.

After learning of Ibarra's act of kindness, Pulisic announced in a video message that he would be making a donation of his own to the relief efforts, and that he would also be sending his signed game jersey to Ibarra to replace the one that the young boy so selflessly gave up for a noble cause.

Ibarra's reaction? Priceless.

The game-worn jersey is particularly impressive since Pulisic provided a goal and assist to pace the USMNT's rout of Panama on Friday in Orlando, putting the American men in a much better position to qualify for the World Cup.
