No players from Russian clubs included in Ukraine's Euro 2016 squad

Yevhen Seleznyov has not been selected by Ukraine since joining a Russia club.

Ukraine have not included any players from Russian clubs in their preliminary squad for the European Championship, in a move likely to continue debate over alleged politically motivated selection.

The Ukrainian Football Federation's 25-man squad and four-man reserve features players from clubs in six countries, but not neighbouring Russia.

Among those left out was striker Yevhen Seleznyov, who was a key player in qualifying but has not been selected since he signed for Russian club Kuban Krasnodar...

FC Ufa's Oleksandr Zinchenko set for Borussia Dortmund move - agent

Oleksandr Zinchenko, left, has played at youth and senior level for Ukraine.

FC Ufa midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko is set to join Borussia Dortmund this summer, the player's agent said on Friday, however the Russian club's general manager has refuted his claim.

The 19-year-old Ukraine youth and senior international has been linked to the likes of Roma, Zenit St. Petersburg, Shakhtar Donetsk, Dinamo Kiev and the top Moscow clubs in addition to the Bundesliga side.

Speaking to Sport Express on Friday, ProSports Management agency president German Tkachenko revealed a move to...

Coleman's side slipped to a 1-0 defeat in Kiev on Monday night when Andrij Yarmolenko finished expertly from Ruslan Rotan's 28th-minute free kick.

That set-piece frailty is a familiar theme for Wales as just four days ago Craig Cathcart punished them from a corner in a 1-1 draw with Northern Ireland.

Wales boss Chris Coleman hopes for no racist fans in Ukraine

Chris Coleman hopes Ukraine have rooted out any of their racist fans ahead of Wales' visit on Monday.

FIFA had already ordered Ukraine to play their opening 2018 World Cup qualifier against Iceland in September behind closed doors before UEFA also hit their fans with a one-game ban following racist behaviour and the use of laser pointers and illicit banners when they met Spain last October.

Dynamo Kiev were also forced to play two Champions League games behind closed doors this season because of...
