Gab Marcotti says Federico Chiesa and Jack Bonaventura turned the tide for Italy in their draw with Poland, but the first half raised concerns.
Poland couldn't hang on for the win in their UEFA Nations League opener, as Jorginho's second-half penalty rescued a point for Italy in Bologna.

UEFA has charged Poland with fan racism in a Nations League game, while the Czech Republic and Ukraine face charges for crowd unrest.

These are the first disciplinary cases involving Europe's newest international competition. UEFA didn't specify what Polish fans are alleged to have done in Friday's 1-1 draw with Italy, but said the case would be heard Sept. 21.

Mourinho denies reports of scouting trip to Croatia: 'I have no hidden cause'

Jose Mourinho did not attend Friday's match between Croatia and Ukraine in a scouting capacity, the Manchester United boss says. Instead, he was there to soak up the sunshine.

The United manager was in Zagreb for Croatia's 1-0 win in World Cup qualifying -- a result which saw them retain their place atop the Group I table.

His visit elicited suggestions he was on hand to meet with the representatives of Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic, who did not play due to suspension.

Was Jose Mourinho in Croatia in search of talent?

However Mourinho denied...
