Emmanuel Adebayor no longer in Togo plans - coach Tom Saintfiet

ESPN FC's Ian Darke does not feel like other clubs like dealing with Tottenham as long as Daniel Levy is in charge.
ESPN FC's Alexis Nunes and Paul Mariner discuss the dip in form of Tottenham's Harry Kane. Mariner feels Kane needs to take a break to avoid burnout.

Togo coach Tom Saintfiet said Emmanuel Adebayor will not be selected for international duty anymore after failing to respond to a recent call-up.

Tottenham striker Adebayor was named in the squad for the African Nations Cup qualifier in Djibouti but officials confirmed last week that he had not reported for duty

Emmanuel Adebayor fails to report for international duty with Togo

Emmanuel Adebayor 'has not given a reason' for not arriving.

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor has failed to arrive for international duty with Togo, an official has told Sky Sports News.

The news comes a day after Tottenham omitted Adebyor from both their 25-man Premier League squad and their Europa League list.

Spurs published their squad...

Ghana thrashed Mauritius 7-1 in their opening 2017 African Nations Cup qualifier in Accra.

Christian Atsu opened the scoring, heading home a Harrison Afful cross for his ninth international goal, and it was 2-0 shortly afterwards when Jordan Ayew was presented with a tap-in by Jeffrey Schlupp.

Martin Odegaard shines as Norway and Sweden draw

Martin Odegaard created many chances but could not spark Norway to a win over neighbours Sweden.

Real Madrid's Martin Odegaard impressed but could not help Norway find a breakthrough in a goalless draw with Sweden on Monday.

The 16-year-old created multiple scoring chances and looked much more lively than Sweden star Zalatan Ibrahimovic, who missed an opportunity to score in the first half.

Norway striker Alexander Soderlund could have had a hat trick as the hosts had the better of the ball after half-time, though Sweden also came close in the closing minutes.

The last chance fell to Norway...
