Hassan Sunny was one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League of Thailand last season.

With the additional ASEAN player slot for next season's 2016 Premier League of Thailand (PLT) in the pipeline, Singapore international goalkeeper Hassan Sunny believes at least two of his countrymen could be headed to the kingdom.

Hassan, 32, became the first Singaporean to play in the PLT when he joined Army United from S.League giants Warriors FC in 2015.

His stellar performances between made him a fan favourite, and he has continued the same vein of form this year for the club.

Nawaf Al-Abed fired two late penalties as three-time Asian champions Saudi Arabia came from behind to beat Iraq 2-1 to make it two wins out of two in the third round of 2018 AFC World Cup qualifying.

The Group B match, played on neutral soil at Shah Alam Stadium in Malaysia, saw Mohannad Abdul-Raheem give Iraq the lead after 18 minutes. It was the Al Zawraa striker's seventh international goal in his 26th appearance.

Thailand suffered a heart-breaking opening to the final round of their 2018 AFC World Cup qualifying campaign as a late penalty from Saudi Arabia saw them slip to a controversial 1-0 defeat in Riyadh on Thursday night.
