Sunny heroics as Army hand first TPL home loss to Suphanburi

Hassan Sunny is once again the hero for Army United making a series of saves to give his TPL side an away win at Suphanburi.

Suphanburi winger Jakkapan Pornsai is targeting FA Cup glory to make up for his side's first home loss of the season against Army United in the Thai Premier League (TPL).

The visitors put up a resilient defensive performance and were once again indebted to Singaporean goalkeeper Hassan Sunny, who pulled off several impressive saves to preserve the team's 1-0 lead.

But Jakkapan wants his teammates to pick themselves up, with another meeting with Army United coming up on Wednesday in the FA Cup. "We...

Confusion surrounds the future of Port FC head coach Gary Stevens after reports emerged that he had been sacked by the struggling Thai Premier League (TPL) club.

Port FC had announced on Wednesday that former TOT SC coach Somchai Subperm had joined the club as manager. The club statement suggested that Somchai's experience would help support Stevens in his coaching role.

Army United goalkeeper Hassan Sunny has been one of the outstanding performers in the Thai Premier League (TPL) this season. But the Singapore international's aura of invincibility slipped as his error gifted Chonburi FC the opening goal in their 2-1 away victory at the 'Home of Gentlemen' on Sunday.

Sunny has undoubtedly been the best keeper in the league this season, keeping his limited team among the front runners by rescuing them on several occasions. But, early in Sunday's second half he came...

Ruthless Liverpool outclass Thai All Stars XI in preseason friendly

Liverpool will be enjoying the support of fans in both Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur (pictured) on their Asian and Australian tour.

Liverpool brushed aside the challenge of the Thai All Stars XI with a 4-0 victory in rain-soaked Bangkok.

Lazar Markovic, Mamadou Sakho, Adam Lallana and Divock Origi were all on target as Brendan Rodgers' men demonstrated a ruthless approach in the preseason friendly.

The Thai All Stars, managed by national team coach Kiatisuk Senamuang, were missing most of the Thai Premier League (TPL) stars due to a clash with a full card of fixtures on Wednesday evening.

As a result, there was a big representation...
