Port FC head coach Gary Stevens believes the only way is upwards after his side defeated TOT SC 2-0 in the Thai Premier League (TPL) on Sunday.

The victory at Port FC's PAT stadium was hugely significant as the Stevens' side pulled four points clear of the relegation zone, having started the game just one point above their opponents.

Second TPL defeat, but encouraging signs for Gary Stevens at Port FC

An inspired performance by Singapore goalkeeper Hassan Sunny helped TPL side Army United defeat Port FC.

Port FC head coach Gary Stevens believes it is just a matter of time before the Thai Premier League (TPL) strugglers find the results to match their performances, after a 1-0 defeat at his former side Army United that saw another inspired performance by Singapore international goalkeeper Hassan Sunny.

The match could have an extra edge to it as Stevens returns to the club who dismissed him less than two months ago, despite guiding them to their best ever start to a TPL campaign.

The former England and Spurs defender has been given a new lease of life in Bangkok as the Port Lions look to lift themselves...

Army United's goalkeeper Hassan Sunny gave hope to all Thai Premier League (TPL) challengers by showing how a combination of luck and fighting spirit can keep champions Buriram United at bay.

The Singapore international helped put a halt to the Buriram juggernaut on Saturday, pulling off a series of fine saves to give Army a hard earned point after a goalless draw in Northeast Thailand. This allowed both Muang Thong United and Bangkok Glass to move within a point of the Thunder Castle...

World Cup victory in Taipei underlines new depth of Thailand football

Thailand won easily in Chinese Taipei despite coach Kiatisuk Senamuang's decision to not call up six regulars who were part of the U23 SEA Games squad.

Thailand's 2-0 victory in Chinese Taipei in Tuesday night's AFC World Cup qualifier completed a memorable week for Thai football.

Last week, Thailand's women earned their first ever win in a World Cup finals match by beating Ivory Coast 3-2 in Canada before the War Elephants' U23 side won the football gold medal at the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, defeating Myanmar 3-0 in the final.

That was before Kiatisuk 'Zico' Senamuang's men eased to a comfortable road victory in Taipei to make it six points...
