AFF Suzuki cup winners Thailand were given a rousing reception upon arrival in Bangkok.

AFF Suzuki Cup champions Thailand were given a red carpet reception when they returned home to Bangkok following their record-equalling fourth ASEAN title win after Saturday's final against Malaysia at Kuala Lumpur's Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

Kiatisuk Senamuang's side ended a 12-year title drought as they prevailed 4-3 on aggregate against Malaysia in the two-legged final, home and away.

Malaysia could not overturn the two goal deficit from the first leg against Thailand, as a late goal from Chanathip Songkrasin would seal AFF Cup glory for his country.
