Azkals star Mark Hartmann unsure of S.League future with Geylang

Geylang striker Mark Hartmann
Mark Hartmann has scored eight goals in 11 games for Geylang since joining the club in June 2016.

Mark Hartmann's future at Geylang International remains unclear, with the striker yet to receive a "concrete" offer from the club.

The striker took the S.League by storm when he became the first-ever Filipino to sign for a Singapore club in June, proving his goal-scoring ability with a respectable eight goals in 11 matches.

Geylang closed out their season with a 4-1 home win against Home United on Tuesday, but fell short of AFC Cup qualification as they finished fifth in the league standings.

Singapore football ready for decision day on future on Nov. 7

ESPN FC's Jason Dasey and PJ Roberts recap Singapore's defeat against Hong Kong and Malaysia's 1-1 draw against Afghanistan in international friendly action.

The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) have moved to clarify their decision to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) on Nov. 7.

The meeting will see the FAS and their 46 voting members convene to decide on constitutional amendments that will usher in significant changes to the Singapore football scene.

One of the key points will be to vote on allowing for democratic election of FAS leaders, which was initially meant to take place at last month's Annual General Meeting (AGM).
