Home United were unable to pick up maximum points for the second successive S.League game as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Hougang United at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Friday.

It could have been even worse for the Protectors as the Cheetahs took a 34th minute lead through a Yuki Uchiyama strike. But Philippe Aw's side hit back eight minutes later when Denmark born striker Ken Ilso converted a spot kick thereby rescuing a point.

Aw opted to make four changes to the starting XI which had played...

The Protectors, one of the competition's traditional heavyweights, opened their campaign on Tuesday with a 1-1 draw against Geylang International.

While it was not the most ideal of starts, there were plenty of positives to take away from that game, including Danish import Ken Ilso's fine individual effort while the...

Geylang International will travel to Toa Payoh Stadium on Friday night with the intention of recording their first win of the season against Balestier Khalsa FC.

A 1-1 draw might not be the most ideal result to start a season but for the Eagles, it was a good point earned on Tuesday.

Up against Great Eastern Yeo's S.League title hopefuls Home United FC, the hosts did not give up despite falling behind and rallied to avoid defeat.

The Eagles were not outclassed by the traditional powerhouses and...

Reigning Great Eastern Yeo's S.League champions Warriors FC head coach Alex Weaver wants his team to pick up where they left off from the Charity Shield match when they visit Harimau Muda.
