Hyundai will join Great Eastern as co-sponsors of Singapore's S.League.

Global automotive giants Hyundai Motors have signed a two-year deal to become co-title sponsors of the Great Eastern S.League.

The agreement will kick in immediately, with the 2017 S.League season beginning on Sunday with the Community Shield between champions Albirex Niigata (S) and Tampines Rovers.

Hyundai have been FIFA's automotive partners for the World Cup since the 2002, while also holding the naming rights to Australia's A-League for more than a decade.

Bayern are reportedly planning to play two matches in Singapore and two in China.

Bayern Munich's two-match tour of Singapore is expected to be officially confirmed next month, despite the Singapore Sports Hub's refusal to comment on the proposed trip.

March 16 is the proposed date for the official launch that will announce the July visit of the 25-time German champions for the International Champions Cup (ICC).

Bayern will also play two matches in China as part of their summer tour.
