Son Heung-Min tallied a hat-trick as Korea Republic defeat Laos 8-0 in their World Cup qualifier.

Tottenham Hotspur's new signing Son Heung-Min scored a hat trick as South Korea recorded an emphatic 8-0 win over Laos in Asian World Cup qualifying Group G.

Bernd Stange's Singapore fell two places to 157 in the latest FIFA rankings.

Malaysia and Singapore are among the Asian nations who have fallen in the latest FIFA rankings.

Bernd Stange's side -- who held four-time Asian champions Japan to a draw in June -- have fallen two places and are ranked 157th.
