Tampines Rovers into Singapore Cup after edging Ceres in SF thriller

Tampines Rovers moved through to the final of the 2016 Singapore Cup after a 3-2 extra-time win over Ceres La Salle in the second leg of their semifinal saw them progress 5-3 on aggregate.

Singapore will face 2014 champions Thailand and co-hosts Philippines at the 2016 Suzuki Cup.

Singapore have been placed in a more difficult group than neighbours Malaysia after Tuesday night's draw for the AFF 2016 AFF Suzuki Cup in Yangon.

The 11th edition of the biennial Southeast Asian tournament will be held between Nov. 19 and Dec. 17 in Philippines and Myanmar.
